If you think you are in a position to help Project Orchard please contact us today and together we will make a difference Cash for Kids is a Registered Charity in Scotland Number SC041421
Cash for Kids is Northsound Radio’s listener charity.
As has been the case in previous years, this year we hope to raise over £200,000 to make grants to individuals, families, children’s groups, organisations and projects throughout the Northsound transmission area. All the money is raised locally and spent locally and goes to disabled, sick and disadvantaged children and young people under 18 throughout the Grampian area.
This year however we have an additional major project on the go, it’s called Project Orchard, and as you’re reading this you’re already on our site and we sincerely hope you will want to be a part of it.
For the first time ever, Cash for Kids is focused on a major project which will reach out to help children who suffer from motor control challenges, a potentially serious condition which can be very effectively helped by early intervention in the classroom or nursery.
Aberdeen has a world wide reputation for commercial success across many industries over hundreds of years, and it is in that same spirit that a Structured Development Programme, unique in it’s ability to help children overcome motor control challenges, has been developed here in the North East of Scotland.
The potential of this programme to help children in need is well documented and it has a considerable army of supporters, including our own First Minister.
We hope you will take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with all of the background details contained within our dedicated website and that we can tempt you to help us make Cash for Kids Project Orchard yet another North East success story.
